So everyone wants to do something about it.
And I think that,
In Victoria, it's the, you know, I mean, you've got until the end of the year.
They've only got to find $200 billion, you know.
I mean, and I did an interview this week with that guy who got broken into and shots fired in his house.
I mean, it's the same happened in Queensland.
They changed the government, and David Christopher Lee up there brought in adults,
out of time, out of crime.
So that's work, but you also need to fix bail laws.
I mean, these kids are going around Melbourne.
They'll go into a house, they'll steal a car, they'll shoot a gun in the air, the coppers arrest them, do a great job arresting them, and they get out on bail the next day.
And so criminal networks are just going, you know what, we'll employ kids, sling them five grand or give them a couple of bottles of vodka and they'll go and firebomb something.
And we'll get off scot-free and the kids will be out the next day and the next day and the next day.
So it's just a vicious cycle of government ineptitude.
It's hard to fathom.
I did read, now, Damo, my Latin's not that good, so I might have this term wrong, but there's a term if you're under the age of being able to make a sensible decision about what you're doing.
Doxy is thrown in there somewhere and you get let out because you can't be seen to be in age to make decisions properly.
And the kids are starting to yell this term at the coppers when they arrest them, knowing they're getting sent straight back out.
Now, Carl, that's a great explanation from you, and I think it gives us a bit of hope that as a community we can do something.
That's some pretty heavy gear for this show.
