And then when I started playing in bands and I started playing drums in bands, I was like, oh, this is the thing that's kind of mine.
This is the thing that I'm choosing and I really love.
And that was huge for me.
I guess specifically the music that helped me get there was, well, I remember I used to take piano lessons in school, but my piano teacher gave me a key to the drum practice space because I'd asked if it would be possible.
And so I would go, I wasn't taking drum lessons, but I would go in and play drums along to the album 13 Songs by Fugazi.
And that was sort of my, that was my music school, just trying to play along with that album.
