It's obviously a rising power.
It's building aircraft carriers, it's building strategic bombers, it's building submarines.
It has a bigger Navy than the US Navy by the number of ships.
Um, the US Navy, people believe, remains strategically much more capable.
It's a blue water fleet as opposed to
a you know, sort of a literal uh fleet.
Anywhere basically on blue water.
The Chinese one for now appears more tethered to being close to Chinese territorial waters.
But if they want to invade Taiwan, that's precisely the sort of fleet you need.
