Yeah, so look, back to my, I did business or accounting at Warrnambool at Deakin University for two years.

I remember failing my last uni exam because I knew no answers.

Like I knew zero on the page and thinking I want to do comedy anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

So that was my thought process.

My mother had a very different thought process.

She's like, what is wrong with you?

So yeah, she really cracked it and told me to get off the wacky tobacco.

Yeah.

which I ended up doing, but yeah.

And then, yeah, moved to Perth to really, I wanted to do comedy and I thought from a long way from home that we know when I know there to see me fail.

Is that the reason?

Part of the reason to go to Perth, yeah.

Yeah, I do.

The first night, again, so I was only, I think I'd just turned 22.

I'd just stopped drinking completely and the wacky tobacco, so completely sober.

Yeah.

And I was at this little comedy club in Perth and, again, it was my dream to be a comedian.

As I already said, I failed uni and I'd failed a lot of odd jobs as well.

I remember I once got sacked as a dishwasher, which is like when you get sacked as a dishwasher, if you're trying, I was trying.

Or if you're not trying, yeah, fair enough, you sack me because I'm a lazy arsehole, but I was trying hard.
