I cried all night that night.

I sat in the bed and I was like, how am I going to do this?

And then I just looked in the mirror and I came back out.

Right.

You have a choice there.

Walk out the door.

Go back to that horrible life you were in.

or give it a go and i said right you're here now let's do it and i have never ever been so more proud of myself that ideas like we weren't allowed to phone nothing it was the best thing ever we weren't allowed ring home for the week and when i rang my family

even to hear them, it was like, oh, my God, they were worried, obviously.

But it's really like when you come out of detox and you're brought up to the big house, that was like a massive thing for me.

And I was very

aware like i'm a gay fella now going into this place there was 80 odd lads there there were some macho men in there but brenda from every single one of them i had nothing but nice things from people not one person said anything about my sexuality nothing i i've actually made friends in there for life

Like, they were so good to me.

And then I thought, that's when I started to, let's do this program.

I could ease myself a bit.

And then it was week two.

There's nothing happening week two.

Then week three is you start work.

So I started working in the coffee dock.

And I kind of pulled myself a little bit away from the group I was in because they were all working outside.
