I kind of started towards the end of my 20s, 30s, but it was all very just at the weekends.

I wasn't really buying it.

If I was at parties, I'd take it and then.

It quickly kind of went like that for a few years, but then it quickly wrapped very fast.

Like I was buying it then, have to have it before I go out, have to be in my pocket if I'm going out drinking.

So I could drink away.

I was like, this is fantastic, because I can just take a few lines, I'm grand.

But I hated drugs, Brenda, that's the thing.

I hated even, my friends offered me pills before, like no interest.

And then I'm like, how did I get into this?

But still thinking, everything's grand, I can hold down a job, whatever.

It's when I started missing work and stuff, that's when my addiction really, really kicked in.

I wouldn't show up.

I'd ring in sick last minute.

I didn't care.

It was all about me.

I'm doing this, so leave me alone.

And see, what I would do, I would hide away.
