The external dimensions are the same sort of thing, but it uses a faster burning powder to generate more velocity out of same bullet weight, but it does it in keeping the pressure still under 45 auto plus P Sammy pressure.

So if you're H&K, which I'm sure is rated for plus P, is rated for plus P, then you can safely shoot .450 SMC through it without changing anything.

But...

What you need to worry about that you start you start you start putting this, you know, 45 plus P plus, which is not a semi spec.

Well, my 45 plus P plus is twenty nine thousand PSI.

Ammunition manufacturer B is like, well, my 45 plus P plus is thirty three thousand PSI.

There's no governing body to dictate what that stands for.

And so is it instantly going to fuck your gun up?

No.

But a 20-round magazine of it, you could start elongating your slide stop hole.

You could start getting some battering on your lock.

The only thing that I would feel comfortable doing that with is if I had to, then go to 450 SMC and use that round.

And you got this guy coming out of a cabin in his fucking long johns wearing hiking boots, and he's telling you, hey, man, put this spring in your gun and shoot these 20 rounds out of it.
