You know when sometimes you go to a football game on your own, I don't know if you two do this, and sometimes you can fall into you start commentating even though you're watching.
Did you do that now as with your athletics head on?
I was just gonna say, as you know from last week with Clash of the Commentators, I was a little bit rusty, but I couldn't help but get the buzz on the opening day.

So yeah, it was uh a a a little rusty in terms of getting back into the rhythm, the swing of things.
But I was gonna say to you, John, I mean I listened to you at you were obviously at Brentford, but then I um and I listened to you on my way home uh with Michael Brown, but the Saint James's Park the next day, the way that you described what was clearly a very emotional scene at Saint James's Park as we knew it was going to be, I thought was outstanding regarding Kevin Keegan.

And John, when you said they let it breathe, I actually thought that actually is the perfect way to describe how your commentary was because and anybody who hasn't yet listened to it or seen it, uh, you can go back to the uh to the BBC Sounds app and that gives you the the opportunity to rewind and and to find the start of that uh commentary ahead of the the game at St.
James's Park last Sunday.
