So it was good to see him for a few minutes.
Yeah.
Dan's been there both on the bench, so we were down there hitting and getting ready and kind of knew there was a couple of situations where it might be a good spot for me to hit.
I kind of got to a point in the game where
I think we were down two um and there was like one spot that might have made sense but it just didn't come up so I was I was down there with my batting gloves on ready to hit but um yeah you you just you stay prepared because as you know as a teammate and as a competitor you're like hey if I can give us a chance to to win a baseball game today you know that's all that matters
uh yeah i think you you know you do a lot of the prep on on kind of who the guys are that you might face and what the pockets are that make sense for you so like you know how thinking along with the manager and have an understanding for like all right if this guy comes up and there's a righty you know this might be my shot here um
and then kind of getting prepared for that pitcher.
But guys do a really good job on the bench of staying engaged and staying engaged in the game and what's going on.
So, you know, that part is just the preparation part, I think, that helps you be ready for it.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Look at it and say, what's going on?
But I think that, like, if we had the same record today, that we had just won two out of three, two out of three, two out of three, you know, maybe lost a series, won a series, lost a series, won a series.
Um, you know, you, you feel pretty decent about where we're at.
Um, but it, when it, when it kind of comes in bunches and then I think it was cold for a minute.
Um, it's, yeah, it's a little bit more confusing and frustrating.
And I think, um,
The back of the baseball cards on this team don't lie.
There's a lot of guys that have put up great careers with really impressive numbers.
And I think once we get to the end of this thing, those back of the baseball cards are going to show up.
