We're going to see.
The temperature's going to drop.
It's going to be a little bit of a cooler one tonight, but hopefully we can get it in.
uh yeah i mean i'm feeling good taking some good swings and and making some good decisions so um yeah it'd be great to play tonight i think it's just it's tough we get that off day on thursday i think the angels are flying back to anaheim for their opener um and you don't want to be in a situation you know where you have to make up a game in the middle of the year so if we can get these two in the next couple days that'd be great
Um, yeah, I mean, to be honest, the spring training, it's just, it's different.
You go through spring, you don't play every single day.
You're kind of every other, you're working on stuff.
Um,
And left-handed, I never quite got it right during spring training.
It never quite felt like it clicked.
And then you're trying to get those back-to-back games and you're trying to just see the ball and make good decisions and get to a point where you feel like you're in a good position to hit.
So that's kind of part of the first week is getting back in that rhythm of playing baseball every day, going to the park every day, going through your routine and getting that feeling like it's supposed to be.
I was not surprised at all.
I've done that enough times at Wrigley Field to know that as soon as it came off the bat, it wasn't going to go.
But I think the one I hit the next day, the ready one, I think it was like 111 and a half.
That was a pretty good bullet.
Yeah, you just got to keep swinging the good pitches.
I think that's the only thing that you can control.
You can't necessarily control where the ball goes or the direction the wind's blowing.
But when you're staying disciplined and you're not chasing out of the zone, you're making pitchers throw the ball in the middle of the plate and getting yourself into some counts where you can get some pitches to hit.
