So, you know, just the way that the schedule was built out, some part of a product of plan in a cold weather city early in the year, you get more than you'd want in April and less than you want in May and June.
And so, yeah, I think that May schedule was always going to be a little bit tough from
I think we played 22 and 23 days or something like that, plus some of the opponents and some of the travel.
So getting to a schedule that's a little bit more favorable in the month of June and in July, I think it was something that we were kind of all aware of that that was going to shake out.
One of the things that when you're playing in this league, every team has big league players.
Everybody is capable of winning at any time.
That's one of the most beautiful things about the game is even the worst teams in the league are going to win 50, 60 games a year or more.
And so just going out there and understanding that you don't take anybody for granted, but when you get a chance to take care of business and finish the job, that's kind of what's in front of us here.
Yeah, it was great to see him before the game.
And when they do their pregame show, they're on the field.
So it was pretty funny going out to stretch on the line and running past Riz with Pop Costas and Ozzie Smith sitting there
I'm talking baseball.
He's really good at it.
You know, he has a great feel for kind of distilling the game and being able to communicate what he's seeing.
But, you know, as one of my best friends in baseball, it's pretty funny to see him doing broadcasting now.

I think one of the things that has been important to me throughout my career or something that I value is you got to stay the course and you can't, you're going to have times that,
The game stinks and you feel underwater.
And I think the best way to get out of those or the best way to shorten them is to understand that it's not going to last forever and that there are better times ahead.
