Just because...

Leading up to this offseason, it was kind of like Owen Casey is the right fielder in waiting, and now that Tucker's gone, he's probably going to split time in right field with Seau while one DHs or however they wanted to play it.

But by moving Casey for a starting pitcher like that, that's telling me, all right, the time is now.

We need this insurance here.

We're going to go get our guy.

And Edward Cabrera was talked about in the trade market to six different teams for the entire offseason.

So being able to get the deal done was great.

I'm calling it now.

Peter Fairbanks will be a Cub come August.

I do think trading Casey, my only issue with it was he seemed, other than Shaw, who played a lot more, but he seemed very ready to take that next step of getting a lot more big league at-bats and playing maybe not every single day, but playing –

80 games this year.

So he's someone that good for him.

Like he's going to go to Miami and probably play a ton and we'll get to see how he does.

But I didn't, I was kind of hoping it'd be anybody but him of the prospect world, just because I feel like he was ready to be that guy of, like I said, platoon was saying right field and like DH at times, like he, I liked what I saw from him in the past.

And Ben Brown.

We didn't know Ben Brown either.
