I think my two things, one, I completely understand if you want to see the track record.
I think the only issue is obviously if he had three years of 180-plus innings, the price tag is a lot higher.
Yeah, it's like, all right, you're probably adding in two more prospects and maybe even a big league player.
Well, Casey is a big leaguer.
But the other thing I love about it compared to, not to knock it, but the Tucker trade of a one-year deal is you have Cabrera for three more years.
He's still in arbitration for two more years after this one, which I am a big fan of seeing that.
It will take him through his age 30 season.
He's 28 right now.
So that was another good part for me of this isn't a rental.
This is a guy that hopefully stays healthy, can dominate, and you're going to have him for three years before he's even a free agent.
Really good point.
Thank you.
Thanks.
I do my research.
Look at me.
Look at me go.
But yeah, I mean, all in all, from both the moves, it just fired me up to see the Cubs go for it.
Because obviously, Ian plays for the Cubs.
Tom and I are big Cubs fans now.
You want your teams to go for it.
