Liam, it does also, I suppose, advertise on the flip side the quality that's in this squad and the strength and depth in these different positions that Thomas Tuchel's got at his disposal.
And when you look at the recent tournaments, it's been growing for England, hasn't it?
They've been on the precipice of major success a few times, it's felt like, since 2018 at the semi-finals, Euro 2020, the final, obviously 24, the final as well, the last World Cup, the quarter-final defeat to France.
fell obviously early, but they were a very good French team that knocked England out.
It does feel like it's growing.
Do you think this group has got what it takes to be the one that gets this nation over the line again?
