But I wonder from your perspective, what this whole controversy does really for the credibility of soccer in the US?

Yeah, it just feels really sad, Gerry, to be honest.

I mean, you said before it was supposed to be a seminal moment for US soccer, but how transcendent still has this controversy been in cutting through?

I mean, surely soccer fans would have preferred the moment to have come on the pitch and not because of political interference.
