They had a chance to win each one, right?
The Cowboys game, they should have won.
The Bears game, although that was probably the worst they played collectively in any game on both sides, they were still within a point or so early in the fourth quarter or late in the third quarter.
And then the Chargers game, their offense played like garbage, and they still could have won the game in overtime if they didn't turn the ball over again.
So that was a three-game losing streak.
That was to a decent Cowboys team, a good Bears team, a good Chargers team.
Bears and Chargers are likely going to be in the postseason.
And I look at those games now in retrospect, and I'm like, were they really that different than the other games this season?
They just happened to not win those games, right?
They beat the Bucs barely.
They beat the Rams barely.
A lot of the games they've won this year, the Packers, the Lions, they haven't played great football.
but they just won a close game.
And in those three games, they happened to lose close games.
I think we overreacted.
The team is the same.
The team is good, especially on defense, but they're flawed on offense.
They have issues, but they have a shot.
And nothing really changed in three weeks.
And what really got my attention on this is, I was looking at the Super Bowl odds this morning.
