And so if the ETF issuer was to close down,
Start with that scenario.
What would happen is that custodial account would still be there.
That'd still be the value of those assets.
That'd still be essentially moving based upon their underlying assets.
You wouldn't be able to trade it at that exact moment.
And what would typically happen in that case is that the custodian would basically go out and try to find another ETF issuer to manage those accounts.
That ETF issuer would come be put in place and then you'd be able to trade it.
If that wasn't to happen,
And now this will also be the same scenario if an ETF was to close down.
So either there is no ETF issuer who wants to come in and take on this, or the ETF was to close down.
Importantly, you do not lose your money.
It's really important.
You don't lose your money.
But what will happen is you might become essentially a forced seller.
So what will happen is that there'll be a period by which, let's take the ETF closure scenario, by which the issuer, and this has happened in Australia several times.
We haven't closed one before, but it's happened in Australia before.
The ECF issue would put out a notice onto the ASX that says, we intend to cease trading this fund.
And they usually give a fair bit of notice.
We'll cease trading this fund in four to six weeks time.
