I mean, it was just, it changed my life and it changed me for the better.

And, um, I've been playing now for 10 years rugby, but I've been playing on the USA team for six years.

I went to Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.

Nice.

And did nursing there as well.

Because I wasn't, no one, I don't think many female athletes ever think like, oh yeah, I'm going to make a career out of sports.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Well, it's never encouraged nearly as much as it is for men.

No.

And it's not like you're going to go to the NFL and retire with millions.

So you just have to almost think of a backup plan.

So I went wanting to be a doctor, be a nurse, and then it just worked out that rugby clicked and it kept working and I kept striving.

Are you glad to not be in nursing now?

Very glad.

It worked out really well.

But I still love that I did it.
