I think that in itself is kind of ritualistic.

I think that like part of the Y2K nostalgia for me, I mean, like I wasn't there.

I mean, I was there, but I was such a baby that it always felt kind of like what my cool older sister was doing.

But also in hindsight, now looking back on it, I am seeing like a lot of aspects of it that weren't so great, like heroin chic and...

In some ways, I feel like with this new wave of Y2K, we are confronting it with fresh eyes.

And in some ways, you know, the rise of the GLP-1, etc.

I feel like we're letting ourselves have a do-over with a little bit too much grace, I think.

I think this nostalgia is being utilized in different ways by different people.

I think there's a very wholesome way to live in this nostalgia.

And then I think there is a group of people that are leading into this nostalgia and taking advantage of it.

for the worse.

And that kind of leads me to this next question that I'm kind of scared to ask.

Do you think that people today are more or less susceptible to Y2K style groupthink?

Because it feels like pretty much every six months, TikTok is like, the world is ending and everything's over.

And everyone's like, okay, yeah, great.

And then repeat.
