So Christmas of this year to summer of 2027, next summer, with no formal explanation.
Oops.
I just really don't get it.
And it's honestly mind-boggling to think how bad this could have gone, that the cost of all the Shrek fans of the original IP not going to see the movie opening weekend, it was larger than the cost that it made to create an entire original movie and animate an entire original movie.
I have to assume it's expensive to.
To animate like a two and a half hour movie, but like the profit loss that they were gonna take was even worse because of how much people hated this.
