It doesn't mean that we'll have all of our projects actually delivered in 12 months time, but it will be about a system that moves very differently and that has started moving much faster with much more certainty and predictability.
I would hope by then that we'll have much clearer priorities and that they will be much better defined and that the approvals will have started operating in parallel.
We'll have more proportionate assessments.
and more proportionate thresholds, and that we will start to have seen a system that is engaging in a much more collaborative and an earlier way between the regulators, the delivery bodies and the private sector, and that fewer projects are really sitting stalled within those internal queues.
There'll be a huge cultural change needed in that first year.
And I think that will also be as important as the time savings that will follow.
And critically, in 12 months time to the accountability piece, you'll also see that first cycle of reporting that goes from the task force to the cabinet that points to how much progress has been made and any issues that need to be escalated and resolved.
