And he very much fell in love with a way of life and a part of the world.

And so a few years later, got a job managing a small boutique hotel on Harbour Island.

So describe to me, this is your husband still?

This is now my husband.

The reason I say my now husband is because for 26 years we were unmarried.

But having, as you would say, those bastards.

But as my mother would say, darling, they're love children.

And as Prince Philip would say, this is very confusing.

Mine actually were bastards and love children.

No, no, he did the decent thing right away.

When I discovered I was pregnant, he said, let's get married.

And I said, no, thank you.

I was the one who didn't want to get married.

Oh, I've known him since I was sort of 12, 13, as a friend of my sister's.
