I think, you know, it was I think, you know, my grandparents and my parents, it was definitely it was an extraordinary upbringing, but a very imposing one, probably.

And I think when I moved, certainly to the Bahamas, I found that.

blank canvas on which I could paint my own story and I think that became important to me not to be the goddaughter of or the daughter of or the granddaughter of um and and I think finally I have become my own self it took a while definitely um and I think I've made now my own life

You know, on my mother's list of life lessons, interestingly, she has manners.

She has many things on that list.

There are sort of 10 very strong points of view that I think I would go by.

But manners, she says very quickly and briefly, you know, manners make the world such a nicer, easier place.

When I'm going through security in an airport, I'm often thinking, India, keep your manners because I can't bear the way they treat you.

And they're so rude and they don't look you in the eye and they don't ask you nice way.

But I think certain powers in the world at the moment in leadership have lost their sense of manners.

And I think maybe if we were all a little more patient and kind and remembered our manners, it would be a much better place for us to be working from.

Yes, but I also like living in a modern world.

I'm very appreciative of the world I live in.

I love this time that we're in.

And it is challenging and it is off balance.

But my goodness, there are opportunities in it, particularly as a woman.

And I hope I'm raising an independent, confident, uncomplicated daughter.
