In 15 minutes, my entire life and being and sense of self changed.
I realized I was a passenger in my life.
that I feel like I say, I got so busy with the business of self-care that I forgot to care for myself.
I got just as sucked into the comparison trap.
I went down the rabbit hole on social media, the imposter syndrome, the hustle culture, all those things.
And what I was doing was making myself more sick.
I will never forget.
And I remember being in the hospital bed.
I could hear them moving and running all around me and saying, we're going to lose her.
Her blood pressure's dropping.
I am so honored and grateful to be here as well.
And I love the title, Resilient Mind, because that is everything I believe in, resilience.

So it's interesting.
I kind of had a feeling that I had one, you know, so I can't say that I was like, what?
I was in complete shock because I was losing my vision.
I noticed a lot of changes.
It was what made the most sense, but you don't ever want to say that out loud.
So when the doctor called and said, please come in, I want to go over the results instead of say, hey, everything's fine.
