Like, that's so weird.

That doesn't bother me as much.

I think there's a better opposite way to apply this maybe that's not so negative focused.

I've heard a lot of people talk about how on first dates, they're extremely intentional with the person sitting across the table from them saying like, this is what I'm wanting out of my life and no pressure on you.

But like, this is what I'm looking for.

Generally speaking, I want to get married.

I want to have kids.

I want to do all these things.

I don't want to waste your time about it.

So after we go our separate ways tonight,

You don't like that?

I don't have an opinion on it.

Don't you think?

I don't know, because honestly, dating is just so bizarre right now.

I'm not dating, thank God.

Thanks be to God that I am with my husband and I don't have to think about any of these things.

Our entire culture being so vehemently opposed to marriage and family, I do feel like that's kind of an important distinction up front that this is generally what I'm looking for in my life, just so you know.

I have generally been in the camp of let a first date be a first date and be fun.

But there are a lot of young people who are so like, I know I need to communicate what I'm looking for out of my life right now.
