It is sort of like some difficult subject matter, but...
it is very funny it is um hopefully a little bit funny but um i think that the tv so basically that the main character or is who's called aubrey lewis the actor he's sort of a career
had gone sort of a little bit down.
He sort of, when he was young, he had like this moment where he was really sought after.
He had really suddenly a big opportunity.
And that's like for a working class kid from Deadford.
So he had this big show when he was really young, like 20 years old at the National Theatre.
And he kind of bodged it.
He couldn't cope with the pressure.
So he ruined that performance and that sort of really affected how his career progressed from then on.
And so what he did is he was just in this really long running, like 20 years running soap opera that he was in.
It's called People Live, People Die.
People live as if they were already dead.
So he was in there for 20 years and it was like a kind of like a really tough job like really badly paid like really kind of like he was only a side he was only a supporting actor in the so it was a tough job but he held it for 20 years that was his career at the at the time and um
what Lisa is hinting at, the show is kind of, it's sort of like a little bit of a really long running soap opera, so it's inspired by that stuff.
But it's also, one of the defining characteristics is that it's produced on the cheap.
So there's lots of mistakes on that show, in the show.
And like, for example, you see boom microphones hanging into the shot.
Someone says hello into the camera.
Lots of blunders happen all the time.
