But she's just naturally very, very smart.
And I talked with her about math and physics and that kind of stuff all the time.

of teaching us and so you know and i i had the opportunity to go to a a great public school in colorado as well that had some really fantastic teachers in it one particular physics teacher mr hladen if you're watching this uh was very inspiring to me and taught uh kind of a core of guys in that class physics and really kind of took us under his wing to do that um
And so, yeah, you know, I felt like I had understood the fundamentals well enough.
And again, there's already so many smart people in nuclear who are like the smartest people in the world and are always going to be smarter than I am.
And the problem is like not the technical side, not the physics, but nobody's figured out how to, from a business scaling manufacturing perspective,
Take this as a company and scale it all over the world and that's what I was obsessed with and that's what I was focused on So it just made the most sense for me to drop out start my own business get experience try to get some money and that's essentially what I did and it didn't work out nearly as well as if to in PayPal and
It worked out well enough and I learned a ton.
Then I also learned that venture capital exists and then you can go raise money.
That was an eye-opener.
I figured that out when I was early 20s and I realized, maybe I don't actually need to spend the next decade of my life trying to start companies that I don't care about in order to get to the one that I do care about.
I was able to start this.
So how so did you use VC?
So we're a VC backed company, an amazing set of investors who I'm extremely grateful to in both San Francisco and Los Angeles.
I started the company.
I filed it on July 4th, 2023.
So we're coming up on the two year anniversary of filing the company.
But for the first six to eight months, I was really just raising money.
