As the one year anniversary of mister Hudson's death approached, Paul said he'd grown despondent.
The trauma from the abuse had become too much to handle, and he couldn't tell anyone about it.
Paul told me he went to the back patio of his east coast apartment, hung a rope from the deck above, tied a noose, and put his head through it.
Paul said he called his brother first and told him about the abuse he suffered and the ultimatum he issued before mister Hudson died.
Then he called a close friend and confessed everything to him too.
