They got to fight. But if they don't ever fight, we'll never know. Because we had that with John and Silva. We had that with Silva and GSP. So all these fights, we will never see. So we just have to have them in the ether forever and ever.
You just do it. So again, like when I fought, what's his name? Like Tavares, when I did that in the fight, or even the first Vittori fight, there was this move, spin move with the kick I did. I'd never tried it in the gym, but I was like, oh, I saw O'Malley do this. and it landed and it's now always on my highlights.
So those kinds of things, I just had the confidence to do them back then because I just do it. Yeah, and if I'm confident in myself, like my tornado kick in kickboxing, I'd never tried it on my training mates because it's really dangerous. But then I knocked down a heavyweight with it in the ring live, first time ever trying it.
I've tried it on pads, tried it on the bag, but I never tried it on a real person in sparring. And I had him against the ropes, boom, hit him. So shit like that, I wanna try and just have fun. Cause I'm not really, again, my legacy is, I said this already, if what I've already done In this game, a lot of people don't even get to the belt.

um but you can't say anything it's not my conversation like that's the coaches so they have to have that conversation and will they do it will they coach oh yeah you yeah definitely and how does that go like will eugene like sit somebody down and say i haven't seen it hasn't happened to me i haven't had that yeah of course but i don't but i think probably most coaches who care about you will let you know like bro i think it's time like you just and they'll see it and let you know and if you don't want to listen you're still stubborn then

If you're going to do it anyway, then they're like, okay, cool. But aren't the coaches incentivized to having the fighters fight as long as possible? So then they continue getting... That's the coaches if they don't care about their fighters. Like these gyms who have fighters that just like cattle... It's just a mill.
Exactly. Or managers who have... fucking 300 fighters on their roster. It's just, you know, they can't care about all of them. Some of them, it's just they're getting 10%, 20% here. It all adds up and they end up being rich. So it's about caring about someone and caring about their well-being. So yeah, you don't want to put someone in there and you're just on the world stage and that's it.
Because then... the stock of your gym, the stock of your fighters goes down. Yeah, you want to keep it up. So I know Eugene's not that kind of guy. Me and him, even before that, I think I'll know before him. And probably even at the same time, we'll know. We'll just know. And then it'd be like, yeah, I'll know when it's time. When do you want to break up with fighting? Sorry.
I'll break up with fighting... You know, when it would even like, it's not even, it's not, you can't say with fighting, it's not you, it's me. It is me, because fighting is always going to be there, but it's me. Like, it's father time. We'll catch up with all of us at some point.
Like I said, now I have to have breakfast because I realized, okay, that actually helps you, fuel you before your first training, rather than just rolling out of bed and then cool, let's get to the gym. do the damn thing, but yeah. When will I? I don't know, but I know, I said at 20 something, I said, when I'm 34, I'm done with this game.
I'm 35 now, but I know I still, I said I'm over the halfway point. Then I'm definitely a few years away, maybe three years away, but who knows? I don't want to be fighting at 40.
Maybe some wrestling, maybe, but like after UFC, that's the, what the fuck else? Like, bro, all this shit, like go box or go do this. I'm like, nah, I've been on the top, the baddest of the baddest with the baddest of the baddest. Like, What else compares? Like the UFC, you know, they get a lot of flack, but still it's the highest combat sports league in the game right now.
So what else compares to that for me? And that was my dream to be in the UFC and then be a champion. And then, so I'm going to go box some YouTuber for, I mean, fuck 20 million. But I'm saying, look, I'll pray on it. Inshallah, I'll pray on it. But we'll see. We'll see. But like, I just don't think anything because of my code and my morals as well. Again, I'm not desperate for it.
So yeah, I'm not desperate for that kind of money. Because again, shout out to my pops. He's looked after the family, the family seats. So yeah, I think there's other ways to make money. Voice over acting, fucking video games. The video game world is crazy. So much more money than Hollywood. Yeah.
