And, like, we walked through this kind of tunnel of people and they were all, like, cheering onto the pitch and it was really, like...
Wow.
Like, I guess, yeah, that was, I think probably the most used word from my mouth yesterday was probably wow.
Just constantly surprised and excited.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was cool.
It was really, it was really cool thing to experience.
I guess just be a part of and the people that came out, I can't say how much it meant to us as players and as a group because I think we really fed off that.
It wasn't easy at times in the second innings, but you could see you get a wicket and the crowd would lift and we'd run out with the drinks and you could see the girls feeding off that and be like, come on, let's get another couple here.
And even towards the end, that energy just lifted us.
I guess batting innings where there's, you know, boundaries everywhere.
But the way we got to a total was like running really well.
And like, you could see the crowd kind of, I guess, latching onto that.
And, you know, we'd run a, like a really, like, I think there was one single that it like dropped in front of the batter and then the wicket keepers running and both batters are running and it was like carnage and they both made it home and like the Lord's crowd were loving it.
And it's those sort of moments that,
I guess if you weren't paying attention to the cricket, you know, there's a boundary.
You hear the music, you see the flames.
Oh, there's a boundary.
I'll clap for that.
But these sort of moments that often go unnoticed, it felt like everyone was just invested in them as well.
