But the point about it is this, that I had no income, no qualifications and no prospects.

And so politics was a great outlet for me and so on.

Every day is a learning day for me.

And I learn as much tomorrow and the day after as I would ever learn.

And one of the things about the book is that whether it's Tony O'Reilly, Tony Ryan, senior politicians, I would always say to them, what's the best bit of advice you ever got?

And I kind of would be like a Hoover to, you know, try and...

You know, whether people are in the arts or sport or in any walk of life, business, captains of industry, politics, public service, you have so much to learn from.

And the amazing thing is, irrespective of their field of endeavor, they all have the same traits.

So what's the best piece of advice you've ever got?

The most successful people get up earliest in the morning.

And when they're not working at the weekend, they should be working at the weekend.

If they're not, they're thinking about work.

Don't count the number of times you get knocked down, only the number of times you get back up.

The most successful people have the most setbacks and they just take responsibility for it and move on.
