Once you know who you are...
you feel sorry for the people who are, like, screaming at each other on social media.
It takes, like, a beat to get there.
Like, I think it takes a lot of work to really understand yourself.
And I think sometimes...
Modern society, it praises sort of speed and fast pace and accessibility and being available and responding quickly.
Then people wonder, why don't they know themselves?
Why aren't they connected to something bigger?
And they're not taking the time.
I take time to shut down and really go inward and ask myself every time I have a big decision, what feels right?
And even if it's hard to make a decision, whether it's a no or a yes,
If it feels aligned with your values and who you are, like it never is a mistake, ever.
Well, no, I think about it with my own children because as a parent, it's very easy to see them as โ
You know, a lot of parents, they view their children as extensions of themselves.
And I really try not to do that.
Like, they are their own people, just like I'm my own person.
Sometimes in the context of a broader public narrative, everything is sort of commingled and related.
But we're all our own people.
We obviously have conditioning.
We have learned behaviors.
