You can't really describe it.
I was sometimes going into the training ground at like six, seven o'clock at night when it was going dark.
I don't think my coach even knows that, but maybe he does now if he watches this interview.
But I was sometimes going in because we had a key card to get into the training ground in Lyon.
And I sometimes used to go in the night and kick the ball around on our training pitch and just kind of run across the pitch with the ball, hit a few shots at goal.
And I think that kind of repetition just made me love the game again.
And then when I was coming in in the morning with the teams,
and we get into our kind of rondo boxes in the morning into a training session.
There's nothing better.
Like we've all been put into lockdown and we're training back on our own again.
And do you know what?
Like, obviously I'd rather be in Finch Farm with my team, but I've loved it and I feel sharp and I don't even need to be sharp at the moment.
And it's just funny because I literally can't wait these next two months until we're back in for pre-season.
I just hope they go really quickly.
I'd love to, of course.
I'm a big believer, though, that I want what's best for the national team.
And for me, I think the best players have to be picked.
And obviously, if you're playing well and your form's really good, then
I'd like to think that you win with a good chance of being selected.
So if I'm playing well and if I'm looking good and sharp in training and performing, then of course I expect and I hope to be picked.
