NBA's still trying to make this a thing.

And it's working on me because I included it in our polls and the mid-season point Clutch Player of the Year.

We have a bit of a race here, but Anthony Edwards got a majority of the vote, 36%, let's call it.

Cade in second with around 26%.

And you had Shea Gildress Alexander at 21% and Tyrese Maxey at 17.4%.

So pretty evenly split across four people at least.

Who'd you vote for, TK?

I didn't know who to vote for.

And then I went Schumann mode and went to NBA.com stats, looked at all the clutch stuff.

and saw that Anthony Edwards is shooting 68% from the field in clutch situations, 55% from three.

Of these four, he's second in clutch points per game, but only fourth in total clutch points because the Timberwolves have played fewer clutch games than these other teams.

He's got the fewest clutch wins.

He actually has the lowest usage of these four guys.

But still, I mean, if you're shooting almost 70% from the field in clutch situations, it's hard to vote for somebody else.

So I went with Anthony.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Especially like, and if Shea wins MVP too, I feel like they don't want to like also give him clutch player of the year.

So like, okay, well, who else?
