I wonder what they're talking about.
You see that in a few different things.
You see guys having meetings set up.
And so a lot of this.
The foundation was laid a couple of weeks ago while everyone was in Indianapolis.
No, no, no, no.
There's a lot of stuff that doesn't take place at high velocity.
More in the concierge rooms, concierge lounges.
You see guys dug off in corners with representatives and those things.
But you're right.
Particularly for your own guys, a lot of times those conversations are being had up until free agency begins because you can offer them a deal and you're like, hey, like,
You know, it's probably your best interest to take this before they get in the marketplace, and then you talk about the money being gone.
And so sometimes those last-minute deals that we see with our own players are because those deals came through, and, like, it was too good to pass up, so you just go ahead and sign and agree to the deal.
I think it's really important.
And it's important because the locker room sees how the team rewards players
hard workers and guys that go about it the right way.
I'm not saying that some of the guys that departed were not the right guys, but when you see Montague Brown, the seventh-round pick,
end up with a $33 million deal where he basically got it because of the way that he grinded and the way that he developed and improved and took advantage of small opportunities that turned to bigger opportunities and those things.
