I don't know if you know that or not.
15 is more than 11.
It's true.
But the point is, the idea is to get in every year.
13 may not happen every year, but 11 and 6, 12 and 5, that's successful, and you have to pull those off to have a long run.
Yeah, you also don't want to get into a point of, okay, say they have a rough patch and they're 5-4.
which doesn't put you out of anything in this league.
Well, you don't want to have this inside-the-team narrative, well, we can't get 14-3.
So you can't be looking at the final record in September and worried about that because then your eye is way off the ball.
That's not what they did last year.
That's not how good teams do it.
Good teams aren't sitting there thinking, okay, how can we get to 14-2?
It's how can we maximize the record?
How can we get in?
I think the quote I like best from the owner's meetings from Liam, he spoke to Ryan O'Halloran, Bucky, and he said, you know,
We don't want to let the stink of success cover up what really stinks.
And I'm paraphrasing that.
But he's talking about let's not get overwhelmed with success and forget that we have to run the ball better.
Forget that we need to rush the passer better.
Don't let that stink of success cover up what really does stink.
