Fax-Transmission.

Dein Business Card hätte dein Office-Nummer und dein Fax-Nummer. Ich habe es so oft benutzt, ich hatte mein eigenes Zuhause in den Mitte der 90er-Jahre und ich hatte eine separate Linie zuhause für mein Fax-Modem. Wenn ich online gehen würde, würde ich diese Linie benutzen, um das Internet zu accessieren. und oder ich würde diese Linie für zukünftige Faxen benutzen.

Einer der Fälle, warum man hier in New York nicht mehr den 212-Kode hat, ist, dass einige Leute die Fax-Maschine verurteilen. Ich weiß das nicht. Ich hatte den 212-Kode als Kind, das war unser Heimatnummer. Genau, der 212-Kode hat den ganzen Seinfeld-Episode veröffentlicht. Absolut. ... oder ein Subplot darüber, nicht wahr?

So you'd print out, you know, to, fax number, from, from this fax number, right? It would be very rude to just send a fax without sending a fax cover page. Because you could just get something and you would have no idea who it was coming from. Right, etiquette. Facts etiquette.

The other thing though, you could get stuff you didn't ask for. So, just like we have spam in the email era, it was basically facts spam, because it would auto-dial, right? So, sometimes you would pick up the phone, and you would just hear that... And it was just some random... Es war wie ein Junk-Mailer, der hoffte, dass du eine Fax-Maschine bist. Ich wusste nicht, dass es Fax-Mailer gibt.

Ja, du kannst Junk-Faxe bekommen. Junk-Faxe waren ein großes Ding.
