Well, I saw some interesting polling developments that the dissatisfied generation that is my generation, Gen Z...
is incredibly dissatisfied with Donald Trump and his presidency right now.
We saw a swing of Trump sitting at about November 2024, minus one approval with 18 to 29, and that's gone to minus 51 points on Donald Trump's approval.
But we are in a or at least my generation is one of great just general dissatisfaction that can happen quite quickly.
And I think that's why when we talk about what our response has to be, it can't be, you know, bemoaning the institutions or the fact that Chuck Schumer didn't get to sign some paperwork for an illegal war.
but instead that we create big structural change that does not bring us to these places again.
And that instead of being heartbroken for the institutions, we actually care for the people who are hurting.
Because if not, we will just be switching back party control every two in four years.
If we just allow democratic leadership to continue to fail us, everyone will continue to fail.
And I think that we have a unique moment
I think the three of us, Francesca, Joy, we're all going to be at the Choose Your Fighter rally later tonight with the Progressive Victory Fund.
And I think right now is a moment for leaders who want something different, because if we don't, everyone will just continue to be dissatisfied.
But that is all to say.
young people are pissed and they are looking for someone to cultivate that anger.
They could just happily sit with it and stew or someone could do something about it to energize them.
I think there's always been a belief that all young people will organize ourselves.
And I was, you know, really hoping that would happen.
It's not gonna, we need someone to excite us.
Like we're a generation of people that can't call to make our own doctor's appointments.
