And I think disappointed is the wrong word because it's not.
It's about a woman who had her life fundamentally changed.
Again, it's why it's not an ideology thing.
It's about two people.
And to an extent, then, yeah, maybe the people who enabled the behavior as well.
And it does come back to what are the lessons that we want to learn out of this?
And I think one does have to be just because someone does not share a worldview that you think is
is righteous and is out to protect people means that they personally, as an individual, are doing the same.
Just because they are advocating for systems to protect people, just because they are calling out those who hurt us all en masse, because that is what Susan Collins does.
That is what Susan Collins enables, the hurting of women en masse.
That is what she has done throughout her career.
That is what she has enabled with Donald Trump.
But just because someone is standing up to that system does not mean that they as an individual are going to honor those same values or live those same values.
And I had my judgment clouded on this one.
I am fully willing to admit that.
I just think that in the same vein that we shouldn't take this as a, okay, well, then that means that the establishment, if you have so-and-so, quote-unquote, been vetted,
before because we've had some people who have supposedly been vetted and it hasn't worked out then everything's fine or that if anyone is sharing the same worldview on the left that they are totally fine that there that there is that there is the gray area that and we need to be skeptical not necessarily skeptical we need to question people yeah
Well, my hope is this, is that there was a historic number of people who turned out in the primary to vote for Cram.
I hope that means that they did so because they thought that progressive policies and someone who would actually fight against Susan Collins and the systems that got her and have kept her in power.
would be the person to win Maine.
