And I think that this all derives from Europe to an extent.

I think that it's a European approach to dictate the cost of electricity by reference to gas.

And when you have a lot of gas in your system, particularly when it has to kick in in a peaking capacity to make up for your renewables when the sun's not shining or the wind's not blowing.

And that can have a big impact on the cost of electricity for the punter, for the consumer.

And it's kind of, it's really split people.

So either you think this is, you know, an innovative approach to solving one part of the housing crisis or you think it is a damning indictment of the inability to address the housing crisis.

It's both.

I like to have it both ways.

I was talking to one person during the week who made the observation that if we lived in a normal country, this would be a great idea.

But given the country that we do live in, it's going to be a disaster because people are going to throw up anything and everything.

I think it'll be quite popular within one segment of the electorate.

I think it will be quite popular as well, particularly for that group of people who have effectively no chance of owning their own home.

but now might be able to drop 80 or 90 grand on building a decent modular unit in the back garden.

It needs to be a big enough back garden, it must be said, and have an independent life independent from their family.

But, you know, there will be stories of anything and everything getting thrown up and people living in pretty bad conditions.
