had him, you know, thought of as an absolute stone cold mortal lock to be a number one in the league for a decade as recently as two or three years ago.

That all of a sudden is very much in question.

Um I'd love to think that he could rebound, but we don't know.

And that's you know that's what we've been waiting for uh for the last several years is are you gonna find a guy uh that's

dependable when you absolutely need 'em.

For all that went into that trade, the cold reality was that it was Stuart Skinner who brought the Oilers to within one and two games of a Stanley Cup in consecutive seasons.

That is not easy to do.

Tristan Jari hasn't done it.

Tristan Jari has not had any kind of postseason resume uh to this point.

They are going to have to get something from either him or Freddie Anderson when it matters.

And Freddie Anderson came close to finishing the job last year.

Ultimately again, health became the prevailing issue.

So for me, it's far and away goaltending for a variety of reasons.
