There were so many moments where I was watching that, like, it made me long for the Blackhawks being relevant on this show and on this station and in this town again.
Because when the Blackhawks were winning titles, it was a blast.
Very stressful.

That's what I realized sitting there watching that third period.
Get me back to that feeling with the team that plays in this town because it's great when they're good.
And what I love about hockey is that level of anxiety is,
Other sports move at a different pace where you can't necessarily have the same buildup as you do in hockey, right?
Because baseball, it's like one pitch at a time.
Basketball, one possession at a time.
But as you know, a turnover in hockey, and it's like, ah!
Oh, it's on!
All hell breaks loose.
Because, you know, giving up a basket and transition in basketball is one thing, but in hockey, goals are so rare.
