And the fans have really bought into that.

These are coaches who are far more reactive.
They kind of base their game on nullifying opponents.
And as a fan, that does kind of lead to less interesting viewing.
It's less clear at times what those managers are trying to do with the team.

That is a bit of a concern at the moment for Spurs fans.
They just can't quite see what Mourinho is trying to do.
You could, but obviously that did then fall apart, didn't it, a little bit?
It kind of fell away and I guess Spurs are now searching for a new identity and the hope is that Mourinho will be able to bring that in, but I guess it's still a work in progress.
Well, I think the team still looks like it has a lot of the same problems, doesn't it?
There have been good attacking performances.
You think of that 5-0 win against Burnley.
But it hasn't exactly been a transformation.
If you look at the statistics, they are playing more long balls compared to before.
I think it's over 60 now per game compared to 48 before.
So it's more direct, which you'd kind of expect from Mourinho.
But that's become an issue without Harry Kane, who they've now lost.
