It's interesting, if you look last season as well, he actually, his goals won more points than Salah's last season as well.
He won 12 points compared to Salah's 11.
So, you know, even when Salah was in that incredible form last season, it was often Mane who was really scoring those vital goals.
You know, he's just incredible really, isn't he?
And he really has gone from strength to strength.
And I think the other thing is that when you have a player like that, it just boosts the whole team.
You know, they can get to the ball to him and they know that he can do something.
They know that he can create something.
It was the same...
with Salah last year and we're seeing it with Mane now.
He's just a talisman for them.
Yeah you could maybe make a case for Van Dijk couldn't you or Alexander-Arnold they've been brilliant as well but I can't see past Mane either to be honest I mean Kevin De Bruyne is worth a mention as well he's somehow managed to get even better this season but obviously with Liverpool in the position they are you can't really look beyond a Liverpool player can you?
Well, he's certainly given them a good lift, hasn't he?
I mean, a great result against Bournemouth and then the FA Cup win as well.
It's really important to have guys like Philippe Anderson in form again, Pablo Fornals, remember a really big coup in the summer to get him there.
He's coming into some form as well, so that's great stuff.
You know, there was an interesting stat about that win over Bournemouth.
Did you know it was actually the first time that David Moyes had won consecutive games as a West Ham manager?
So he won his last game of his first spell in May 2018.
That was against Everton, and then he won that one.
