Has it been lucrative in what you imagined it would be?

I went into it not expecting it to be that, no.

And in fact, I did not want that to be the majority of our business.

And to this day, it's still not.

Say more about that.

Why not?

Cause I need ownership, boo.

Like I need to like, I need to know that people are coming for us.

So the by-product of going to a Sephora is like, you love us and it happens to be a Sephora, but I want the customer who's pulling up and buying.

Cause if it's out of stock on Sephora, if your product's not that great, you're not going to be excited enough to like go straight to the website and order it.

But when I like something, if it's sold on an Ulta, if it's sold on a Nordstrom,

I'm finding that product.

I think personal detachment is really important.

So the answer to this will probably vary depending on who you ask, but you know, some people love being front and center and the face of, and the name of, and I don't think that's a bad thing, but I do think

that comes with challenges because then you quite literally are the brand.

But I and Dennis, my co-founder, really wanted the community to be the brand.
