And I was also doing makeup in Kuwait as well.

But I was like, I need to invest in

my creative path.

Like I really need to put my best foot forward.

I feel like I'm not going to be able to sleep at night if I don't at least try to pursue this on a serious level, not just for fun, not just as a hobby.

So it was that year.

Yeah.

It was like 2000, it was like 2012.

And then I decided that I was going to put a bunch of money aside and in order to like make my family happy, because half my family's Nigerian and they're

like super, very academically driven.

So in my head, I thought, okay, in order for this to be like legitimized and like not embarrassing, like I have to have some type of credentials.

I have to have something.

So I was like, I'm going to go to cosmetology school and I'm going to just, that's going to be like my legit, it's going to feel like I'm legitimized in a way, right?

So that's what I did.

I was in Kuwait.

I had this job.

It was a contract.

So it was like one year.

And then when my contract ended, I came back and I had saved like,

15K.
