It's such a great feeling when you find something that you're like, oh, I might be good at this and I can do this.
I felt like that about radio when I did the student radio station in UCD when I was there for five minutes.
So you did communications and then you did a master's in journalism?
And then you went into RT on your internship.
And I just didn't want to leave.
I was so excited to be there and so excited to learn and to do literally anything that was asked of me.
And to the point that then when I was going on holidays and they were like, who are we going to get to fill in for Louise?
And I was like, sorry, just a reminder, I'm actually here on work experience.
I was like, this isn't a real role.
And, um, and they were like, oh yeah.
Um, but I had made myself valuable to the team, you know, I was working on a program and then, um, I was actually working with, um, former colleague of yours, Paul Taney.
Yeah, who sadly is no longer with us and who was an amazing person to learn from.
I was so, so sorry to hear about his death because I just... His anniversary is around this time, actually.
I hadn't put that together.
And he was just an incredible person to learn from.
He was so passionate.
He never wore shoes.
He kept getting in trouble with them, our HR, for not wearing shoes.
