And I think the big move for them this year, and I reckon it's also what played into Brittany and Galvin is,

They've now, last year and the year before, they conquered the ability to perform well during the season.

So I think the mentality for them this year was to...

have the ability to attack, not necessarily in the season, but it's also to create those points in final series to try and go to the next level.

I think in what they've done is though, it's worked in reverse and the fact that they've now hindered their ability to perform the campaign throughout the whole year and be able to, you know, not just score points

through structure, but be able to do things off the cuff.

I think it's just worked backwards for them.

Whereas I do think some of the really good attacking sides, such as South Sydney in finals, tee up like certain structures or certain ways to attack where they can manufacture it.

Whereas this year, I feel like the dogs have gone that way, but it just hasn't worked for their yearly campaign.

adam o'brien was an assistant attacking coach but the game was different there was no six against yes you know so like yeah that's that's that's one for every i think that's one for like the whole comp like i think even looking at what newcastle's been able to do this year with um holbrook is they've just flipped like they've just flipped their mentality from you know defense first attack second to where all that attack and i think there's a few teams in the comp that if they had the right squad members this year are able to do that um and even you and even just the ability to counter punch off points like

you know people talk about defense and it's like yes you might let in every team it's risk management everyone's gonna let in points no one goes through the whole year or um a big chunk of the games without leaking at least one try of the of the game um the ability to counter punch a try is almost just as important as not letting one in the first place

it's going to be hard to rebuild now with Perth and png coming I think it's the worst time ever it's the worst time ever like the the if they're doing it now and they're trying to resign blokes or get you know I think I heard Gus say that like the big reason behind the money thing was around the salary cap um and making sure he doesn't squeeze you know out some of the guys that they're trying to resign um obviously at the back end of last year and this year but
