What I would say to start is I would start with SPVs.

And I would start in that category specifically because you're going to get really low minimums

$2,500, $1,000, something like that.

And start building up your muscle of like diligencing things, understanding things, taking calls with founders, just building that up over time.

Then I would move into direct investments and then I would increase your investments.

Because I think what kind of happens is people get excited.

They write a $50,000 check or even a $20,000 check.

That company fails.

And they're like, I'm never doing it again.

And it's like really like you should.

It's a slow burn.

Like you need to build up to those types of investments before you just jump in and think it's going to be like the one.

It's like dating.

Yeah.
