I'm so looking forward to it.
3d effect yeah the um the stereo audio this is technically a dolby atmos production all throughout which if you don't know what that is it's kind of like a version of surround sound it's a surround sound format it's not 5.1 or 7.1 it's like surround sound but it's more adaptive to whatever device you're using whatever configuration of surround sound that you have but for us what that means is that the download for the audiobook is seven gigs for the fourth book
Seven gigs for an audio book.
I have never.
Most of them are like 500 megabytes max.
Yeah, it sounds pretty good on any device, honestly.
Although I have heard that some people who are new to this sort of format find it difficult to follow because of all the sound effects and the huffing and puffing and nonverbal human sounds.
Because there's just like a lot going on.
And sometimes those sound effects and that background chatter happens on top of the narration.
which can be a lot to listen to i think the mix is good just if you're somebody who gets easily distracted it might be a problem so you can go ahead and listen to the samples of the audiobooks to see if this is something that you can actually pay attention to and follow correctly because i know that's been a problem for some people which on audible you can sample the first two chapters of each book usually you get five minutes but for this they uniquely give you the ability to do the first chat first two chapters of each book really cool yeah
The narration by Kush Jumbo is interesting.
She sounds perfect.
She just sounds Harry Potter-y.
I don't know.
It just feels right.
There's not much to say because she doesn't do any dialogue.
What a funny gig for a narrator to do a fictional story with no dialogue.
She's great.
I really liked her.
Yes.
