There's a lot of Quidditch in the first three books.
I was surprised at how much Quidditch there is.
I do like those scenes.
Okay, I do want to talk about something.
Speaking of J.K.
Rowling, I think it's definitely worth mentioning that in this entire discourse around this book, everywhere I go online on forums and stuff,
People don't like that JK Rowling is attached to this project because of her anti-trans views.
She posted, I think, like two essays on her thoughts on this, like a lot of blog posts.
She's very outspoken about her views on the trans community.
And a lot of people just don't want to buy these books because JK Rowling is involved.
They don't want to give her money because she's spreading hate.
it's kind of understandable i would fully agree with you if this wasn't a full cast audiobook because there are so many talented actors involved producers editors directors sound designers editors that get a cut of the pie here because there's one person you disagree with you're gonna keep your money away from all those people for something that you would want to listen to anyways
I personally disagree with that.
There's definitely a question of separating the art from the artist.
But remember, there are a lot of artists involved here.
Yeah, the Harry Potter brand still has so much clout nowadays.
And there's even a TV show coming out, I think, next year.
Like, it's still raking in the money.
Another story around these new full cast audiobooks is just the fact or it's just the sheer size of the project and how Audible has been marketing it.
I don't think there's ever been an audio-only project with this much budget, with this much attention.
